As a Loan Officer Assistant, you will support loan documentation, coordinate requirements, communicate with clients, and ensure all application details are complete and ready for review. Your strong attention to detail, organization, and client-facing confidence will help streamline loan processes and improve borrower experience.

Employment type: Indefinite term type contract
Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM–5:00 PM approx. Colombia time), Weekends Off
Work setup: Work From Home, Colombia

The Qualifications We Seek

• 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong communication skills; will interact with clients regularly
• Good English and Spanish proficiency
• Background in loans/mortgage/financial services is a plus

• Role is administrative with high client interaction
• Requires strong attention to detail
• Must thrive in a fast-paced, flexible environment
• Looking for someone personable, proactive, and reliable
• Strong emphasis on soft skills and communication

Your Daily Tasks

Main Responsibilities:

• Handle initial loan disclosures
• For new leads, use checklists to ensure files are complete and ready for the pre-approval specialist
• Ensure all applicable income and asset documents are present and correctly filed
• Verify application completeness with full two-year housing and job history
• For DSCR applications, obtain AirDNA report
• Check all declarations on the 1003
• Match ID details to borrower file
• For non-citizens, ensure work visas or relevant documents are properly filed
• Verify property taxes or millage rate if property address is available
• Ensure tax returns are in file for self-employed borrowers
• Confirm appropriate documents for refinances based on program
• Perform ad hoc administrative tasks as assigned
